Overview

Esta muy temprana colección de artículos, de carácter misceláneo, editada en 1909 por la casa editorial londinense Methuen & Co. es ya, sin embargo, la tercera del gran escritor y mayor periodista inglés, G. K. Chesterton; pues con anterioridad había publicado The Defendant (1901) y All Things Considered (1908), que aparecerán también, próximamente, en esta misma editorial. Tremendous Trifles (Enormes minucias) recoge artículos aparecidos con anterioridad en el Daily News, donde Chesterton colaboró durante muchos años, y que están milagrosamente escritos sobre casi nada y sobre casi todo, del modo más chestertoniano. La única traducción española hasta el momento era la del escritor y editor Rafael Calleja, numerosas veces reeditada desde la segunda década del pasado siglo, pero un tanto incompleta.
